The Cricklebob

In a forest far away Where pine trees reach the sky The Cricklebob comes out to play Though nobody knows why It skips amonst the bluebells And picks the celandines Dancing through the harebells Whilst drinking daisy wine It sups the nectar with its tongue From every flower it meets Whilst through its nose a song is sung To rhythmic soulful beats The lifestyle of the Cricklebob Is totally unknown A solitary purple blob Whose ancestry's unknown It hovers like a hummingbird Amongst the woodland flowers Displaying features quite absurd Like true magical powers The Cricklebob is very shy So difficult to find Which might explain the reason why It's unknown to mankind
