The Cat Who Got the Bream
THE CAT WHO GOT THE BREAM
I am away now crowd-funding just to feed this flamin’ cat
Who will just eat nothing else; but fresh-caught sea bass
I got a few donations of a sea bass fishing rod and a boat
As kitty cat and I sailed off along the rocky sea lined coast
Kitty wasn’t amused, getting up before the crack of dawn
And it was the first time that I have ever heard her sworn
But hey; a kitty must be fed and her luxury needs be met
To actually catching one I would just not hedge your bets
As more than not, it was off to the fish quay, we would go
If not the best, it was a thumbs down with a stubborn, No
If life was not bad enough living with such a fussy kitty cat
As kitty then decided, she wanted bream on her place-mat
All the best places and prices all turned out to be in Greece
But as I thought about it, turned out to be quite darn neat
So now I am as crowd-funding with our passports in hand
Holidaying; just to feed this kitty cat, you fully understand
