Stopping By

Where have you been Depression? gray, fuzzy robe, blanketed high, tucked under chin where salty tears dried, yesterday. Stuck to the corners of my eyes and down my neck, once puddled between breasts, like a moat around my heart. How ridiculous! This state of mind can be, and how absurd the cocoon that encapsulates me. You may visit but don't stay too long, stealing my joy ... for now.
