Stay with me my love

Stay with me love
and lay in the brightest sun
the one that flows so effortlessly
from me and the flowers around you

I know I could keep you here
But if I trapped you that would be wrong
to lure you in with flower perfume and bumble bees
would truly break your heart and mine
watching you be thine.

Now what am I to do
When its just me and you
Sitting in a field of flowers
knowing you want to go

The beauty keeps you here
but sadly you don't know

That when springs gone and the flowers wilt
this field will be but barren and gray
and myself a desolate moon.
