SOFTLY, SOFTLY Do I believe that the ghost of Ahmed Shah Massoud, that being his son Ahmed Massoud and the interim President Amrullah Saleh can take on all of the Taliban and wipe them out, eh no . . . But, I do believe that that between themselves, they can continue to keep the Taliban out of the Panjshir Valley, North Eastern Afghanistan as in, for good . . . I also believe that Panjshir should then become an independent state, and thus prevent its own corruption from the likes of Pakistan, and the Taliban . . . Panjshir; (Valley of the five lions) is one of main strong holds that the Taliban have yet to defeat, and Afghan Tajik’s will defend it with every last life . . . I would hate to think now Amrullah Saleh is in office, that by doing so, it will bring out even bigger attacks by the Taliban against Panjshir itself . . .
