In a way, this would be nice, just so long the power did not go out and you were well stocked for food! For sure, they'd let people off work!!

Yep, out there in the country, a warm fireplace and a few days to chill (no pun intended), sounds nice. Have a pleasant week, my friend. Bill

It happened two years ago, Silent One. No water or electricity for a week and low 20's with wind chill at -7 to 0 degrees. We drove 60 miles through the snow and ice to get to nearest relative's house with water and electricity. LOL Not often in Texas, but when it hits us, it hits hard. Thanks for the comment, my friend. Beautiful imagery and beautiful picture. But I am sure, life will be a little hard when confined inside the house. Sending you warmth and sunshine.

Thanks, dear Valsa. Being confined does wear on peoples nerves. It becomes a challenge to get along with the others confined with us. Have a pleasant day, my friend. Bill

Hope you're alright, Anaya. Earthquakes are much worse than snow and ice most of the time. I don't like the feel of the actual earth shaking. Yikes! Have a pleasant weekend, my friend. Bill

Lovely imagery, Bill. Gladly we got rid of it a few weeks ago.

It's always nice after a snow and ice spell. Makes one feel like there is still hope of Spring coming soon. Have a pleasant weekend, Vijay. Bill

perfect image for your beautifully written Kimo. Reminds me of the SNOVID event in 2021 when all of Texas had no power, little water, and lots of snow and ice. Happy almost birthday, Bill!

That was quite an experience. Enough of that kind of weather for me for a lifetime. It was okay, because I had you by my side, to keep me warm. :-) Thanks, Bill

Every few years we get a bad ice and snowstorm that freezes up everything and many times the power and water are out for several days or even a week a few years back. It looks great if you have backup rations and water. A generator is also very helpful, but few in Texas have these ahead of time. Thanks for the comment, my friend. Bill
