Sleepy Town
We were getting old, our minds still quite sound
Just one more move before we’re glory bound
We made the decision to look around
Decided we’d look for a sleepy town
It was harder than we thought it would be
To find just the place for Sara and me
We wanted a place where we could feel free
A place close to nature for walks you see
A place in the country that had a pond
Just a short walk to the woods just beyond
To see nature’s beauty, a deer and fawn
To watch the sun set and rise in the dawn
A quiet place to write, we have surely found
We’ll soon make the move to our sleepy town.
