The full moon golden as Japanese maple,
dense pine trees, woodland ladders
forest redolent with fresh earthy aromas
strong gales deliberately manhandling,
navy, ebony, clouds crawl across night sky
mimicking millipedes quickly, silently,
rain pours down brittle trees
similar to hot candle wax
the cold bites,
mournful singing heard in the distance
deeper, deeper
advancing into dank thicket
twigs snap, storm rife.
Peach, fine, lips whispering with urgency,
eyes snowy quartz
wavy, long, silver hair blowing enticingly in the wind
complexion deathly pale,
the enchantress placed a spell
under the full moon, golden as Japanese maple.
