See the Bigger Picture

My privilege to meet you yesterday, Don't cry, your doing the best you can, I didn't even ask if you have a man, Your son was screaming, You were tired, I could see, Those around you tutting, were as rude as can be, Parenthood isn't easy, We all find our own way, Sometimes it sure is, a very hard long day, You said you can't do this anymore, I said a prayer for you tonight, So your feel his peace and love soon is in sight, He looked about two, Saying thank you for the gingerbread man, See that right there, Shows your doing it right, Even if right now it seems a struggle and fight, Wishing people would see the bigger picture, Not tutt and frown, I stroked your hand, so your swim not drown, Tears rolling down your face, Now listen hear, you are not a lost case, Anyone who makes you feel, you are doing it wrong, Change that circle to a positive one, don't leave it too long, You see I've sown a seed now, God's at work already in your home, You and your son will never be alone.
