~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I walk a road unseen for many a year except in my dreams or my wakeful yearning. This misty day — my joy replaces my tears. Who would've dreamt I'd find myself returning? Some pasts morph into shape-shifted fresh frontiers – reward for growth, for humbling and discerning. I splash in puddles picking up wildflowers, now lifting my face to fate-scented showers.
Very interesting poem, Sara, returning to a past with joy and morphing into a new frontier, and finally "fate-scented flowers." The last line seems very open and hopeful!
Exceptional poetry on the themes of rediscovery and personal development, dear Sara. You contemplate the act of revisiting a location that has been absent from your sight and emotions for an extended period, and discovering happiness and rejuvenation in the process. The poem centers on a voyage returning to a location that has been unvisited for a considerable duration. The text delves into the concepts of nostalgia, metamorphosis, and the splendor of rediscovering one's identity in familiar environments. The poem employs a quiet and introspective vocabulary, with terms such as "dreams," "yearning," "joy," and "tears" to effectively depict the profound emotional experience of the speaker.
