Reserving

Don't go away sad What could I do in a moment? For my reserves are low And away from here tears will stream I know it's not enough to put you on your feet Beyond that it will be the death of me Wrapped in guilt Have no means to be understood Don't fixate on me You didn't earn my last ounce of strength But I don't wish for you to know that I don't wish for you to know Tell me what I can do in this moment For I can't do more

Oh, no. Let's talk boundaries. A familiarity is ringing in my ears. I like this strong, introspective poem.

Thanks Hilda, boundaries aren't my strong point. I'm either too far in or too far out. Thank you for your comment, appreciated x

Is this a soliloquy in the mirror Dilly? would make a brilliant one, even if it’s not your intention, my advice would be, do absolutely nothing right now in this moment, and reserve judgement til tomorrow morning, intriguing as always, cheers David
