Remember to Dress the Fart
or
Enclothed Attrition
"Currently, it is estimated that 15% of the population worldwide or some 1 billion individuals live with one or more disabling conditions."
--United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs Disability
The future in the instant comes at last
Each time I wake at midnight pressed to pee,
My being in my prime, alas, long past
Since passing gas near half a century--
As backwards crab I in my shrunken shank
Accessorized in cataracts sans teeth
And with a ham no mother dares to spank
Lest superfluxed she drown upon the heath--
With yet my broken pate and beard plucked off
Has Life that villain left me full alone
A coward on the stage with but a cough
In this atomic "O" here to the bone--
Malfunctioning with mucus and microbes
While starkly dressed the part in borrowed robes.
Dedicated with Respect and Empathy for the Elderly Suffering in Pain
