Out My Window Contest

the ghost - stitched, fused, tethered haunting! creaturely shadow, darkness entrenched cast on paving, stairwell, at my heel relentlessly matching step for step beyond slivers of glass, separating me from all else, lives play out - observe semi visible reflection of self judgement devoid of substance mirrors mock - dimensionless - trapped within the frame fingertips linger upon the vision in the stream excitement carries away senses to awaken again at the source parts of me in view meaningless - composite pieces then my love ~ there I am, refracted revealed in your gaze undoubtedly beautiful all poor reflections fracture! tumble from the scene shadows still lurk yet our connection is emblazoned upon the psyche we are lit by the sun

Made it happen DD - got out of your comfort zone and into you and reflected what others can make their own, and yes, that makes it full of meaning and dimension, ironically and purposefully.

Thank you Craig, I am pleased with my placement. I actually took a few pictures of me reflected in historic windows to add to it but I just looked a bit grouchy in them all haha

From dark to light! From silent pain to joy. From a well of loneliness to a romance "lit by the sun." Truly this poem is a witness to that journey through the windows of your eyes. Congratulations on your win DD! Blessings!
