Listen to poem:
Hello stranger
are you surrounded by warmth
as another walks the pavement?
Have you closed your circumstances on this day?
As the other find solace in the shadows
...slept in the daylight to avoid judgement
Your alarm clock on the side
....On coming routine to the supposed nothing to live for
Are you afraid of your neighbor, bolted doors heart strings cut?
I'll get this damn message across, out in the cold
witness glow from windows
favorite soap opera echos
too close for comfort,
bread and water is all that is needed!
No illusions of grandeur
"to do as I wilt"
Who are you or I to shout!
would you give a hand out if my love ones were in need?
Dog eats dog, out for one selves I know, I know
"life is precious" especially yours
whatever doesn't matter right?
Who needs a hand out from me
If I am not one of your kind
I see it, do you?
