When I am most awake, most present in the moment, every sense of nature converges into a single, complimentary energetic joy. It is as if there is a feeling passing between each living thing, an intertwining of destinies that is tangible and blended, a melody beyond the range of ears but available for the heart. And so, as each leaf moves in the wind, a part of me does also. It is the togetherness of what is separate, the balancing glue in the universe.
Day and night, push and pull, light and dark. Two opposing forces that intertwine their destinies. Forces that complement one another, complete one another, don't compete for control, create a balanced interaction.

Beautiful, poetic admonition. Easy to imagine, hard to achieve. Life gets in the way

Yes, light and dark in nature are constantly changing and interacting with each other. In human beings the same thing happens, those who want to do good are constantly fighting their negative side and those who are basically evil are constantly fighting the good. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Lovely Sara, the line 'don't compete for control' is so powerful. Watching and absorbing energy to build and become part of the scene. Wonderful x

This gives me some sort of calmness as i read dear sara, mindfulness comes to mind and i think of how we need to sometimes stop and connect with all around, let the energy around envelope all senses. I love the way you always write in such a smooth sophisticated way, a reflection of your soul, and heart on paper. So many lines stood out for me but this especially made me go wow “ a melody beyond the range of ears -each leaf moves in the wind, a part of me does also” definitely a fave.

be still, let the rain weep for you, the wind caress your face, the sun light your shadows, the moon tease your heart, and the sun warm your spirit....see what you started Sara...
