No Rhyme Or Reason

The wind and rain are not quiet About their power tonight I'm tossing and turning with them An insignificant bystander Thoughts arriving, then getting blown away Or pummelled into nonsensical offerings The lay of the land Shaped by what it has experienced Most landscapes have their place In the grand scheme of things I'm not a summer meadow But they are ten a penny The wind captures my thoughts again Disperses them out of sight Where perhaps they'll take root With or without me

Part of you being set adrift in the forces of nature, primal upwelling and explored with imagination in this poem. You sure go to lots of places in the course of a day. A good read
