“Integrity is telling myself the truth; it is choosing courage over comfort.” Quote by the author
I cannot be bought.
All your efforts to do so will be for naught.
I don’t manipulate or otherwise plot.
I am abstract.
Without me, your ego will surely distract.
Your life will be unfulfilled, filled with want and lack.
I am faceless.
I am not nameless.
Without me your soul will be discontent, your life baseless.
Children easily see me and trust me implicitly.
In their eyes, I am love and simplicity.
Without me, you’ll be accused of neglect and complicity.
Patience is my middle name.
I sometimes stand in silence, never seeking fame.
Without me, you have nothing worthwhile to gain.
Inside you I dwell
Within your soul’s deepest well.
Your worries and sorrows I can help you dispel.
You can claim me and live a life with deep, personal acclaim.
Without me you’ll live in shadows and chains.
Your life you’ll live with a certain amount of pain.
I confess. With me you feel a certain twitching.
Something inside you starts itching.
You embrace me when no one’s watching.
I have a lot of common sense.
Popularity I do not dispense.
Some say I’m powerful, quietly intense.
I am the voice in all the wisdom teachings.
My significance and impact are far reaching.
With me, there’s no need for preaching.
Keep me close to your heart.
With me, never depart.
I’ll make your life a work of art.
Who am I? I am integrity.
