The poem is below.

I had given up in these last fifteen years
where my painful past kept holding me back
the years are moving along
my pains added on through time
no solace came my way in my darkest hours
I know I will not deem the power of healing
or even try to ghost out my past
where all my painful emotions live
I just had to learn to forgive all who has hurt me
that is what I have done
but my heart is still on run
because life wasn't very fun when I was young
I seen people masking who they really are
they played nice in the light of day
but behind closed doors there was always a war
my father and my mother was always my theme
that lead me in darken dreams
I cried and I felt I died many times
but I will not deem their love
but I must say it was hard being a kid
I felt the earth shrivel beneath my feet
every time the door squeaked
I felt I couldn't breath
I had leared I had no time to play games
or have any friends
when I lived in a small town of shame and blame
calling so many bad names
that brought on pains and low self esteem
in this darken past things was never what they seem.
