My Authentic Sara
A metaphor for a beautiful flower in a lovely vase,
Is your beautiful smile on your lovely face.
When the stresses of life make it hard to cope.
I look to my “rainbow” who always gives hope.
You’re a woman among women, a natural world beater.
With strength enough to be a world leader.
The illusion is fading, I’m beginning to see,
The authentic Sara as she’s meant to be.
You refused to give up, you just wouldn’t stop,
You’ve found your life’s purpose and risen to the top.
Your voice must be heard, you’ve stories to tell,
With depth and meaning, you write them so well.
You never could have shared the love from within,
If not for your courage, to sit down and begin.
