Mood Swings
You hold in your hands the sun and the moon
But appear to me so clouded in gloom
Always poised to shed another tear
There must be something up there to fear
Sometimes you dazzle me with ametrine hues
Or brighten my day with benevolent blues
but winter brings a blanket of snow
Your moods cry out a confused tableau
In anger your tantrums take me by storm
Hot and cold without a word of warn
Caught in your deluge unprepared
Every drop of emotion now bared
Why do I look up to you silly young sky
As if you hold all the answers to life
Each passing hour you change your mind
Do you ever ask yourself why?
