Reality

Most mommies fail to ponder how each child of theirs shall die,
their knowing not the happy ending sometimes goes askew,
since horror has a tendency to fairy tales belie,
while wishing on a star may not make every dream come true.
* * *
a dedication of Respect
for
the Rational woman
not in need of a conscious, feeling
plaything
to diaper
a revolving helios rhyme menippean satire on
the popular, sentimental, romanticized ideology of bearing children --
still not bearing in mind
just outside the womb
countless horrors continuous
may, 2023 -- yet no baby on board
with the notion of being forced onto life's highway with no
guar-
