A lot of different keeps Dilly, I’ve never thought of trying to put all their individual meanings into a post, yet somehow you merged them all seamlessly into a very poignant piece, now if you want to up the ante try (set) I think it had 430 meanings the last time I checked, more than any other word in the English language lol, cheers David

We all need someone with patience to be by our side... sometimes it can be hard, but real love is loving someone when they are not at their best.... you expressed this really well.. nice thought for the contest.

Thank you silent one, looking up such a simple word was a novelty and I was surprised how poetic the entry itself was - quite beautiful I thought. I was just looking up the idea of a 'keep' as some kind of hiding place but wasn't sure if it was just from Game of Thrones :)
