Innocent me
I long to travel back in time
To hug and embrace my then dime
Buried and forgotten yet sublime
All in hope to reclaim my rhyme
Brilliant lilies I endowed the valley
Hither and yon my fragrance spread in alley
Preached me peace, facilitator of parley
Hope, focus, avant-garde in rally
Obedience and exuberance graced my day
Hey Mr. Gentle always came my way
My life, legato, maintained bright my ray
Grace and elegance, syntax of my pay
Lazy bone and busybody sounded so odious
Procrastination their accomplice likewise dubious
Took on all challenges even when `twas tedious
To many esoteric, meward`s obvious
How I miss my shell of ambiance
Now just sulking in eternal ambivalence
Oh how doomed with nothing of radiance
Akin and cater-cousin to eternal malevolence
