I'm Not Miss America

Why must I be picked on? Why must I be constantly criticized? You keep trying to hook me up with people I work with You just won't back down Leave me alone My life is my life Now your calling me Miss America Why won't you stop? You know there has never been a fat Miss America Why are you picking on me? I just want to be left alone But you just won't butt out my business I dread work on Wednesday and Thursday Because I want to be free of your incessant teasing Unhappiness reigns when I am called Miss America When I know I will never be!

That's OK Julie you don't have to be Miss America just be Miss Julie and keep writing beautiful poetry. I'll never be Mr. America but that's OK if I were I probably wouldn't be able to write my own name. Anyway I love the emotion in your poetry thank you for visiting my page and allowing me to find yours have a wonderful evening.
