Idol Worshippers --
The Mutterers of Mother's Charms
"Worldwide each year, natural disasters kill tens of thousands of animals --
yet billions if you count nonhuman animals."
-- Reality washing its hands on "God's green earth"
made one red

Be certain yet to squint as you approach lest ye go blind,
the goddess Nature of a beauty dazzling to the eye,
her powers wondrous casting spells to Ignorance smooth bind,
till witcheries revered the duped idolater belie
the instant magic black sans mercy on the place beneath
comes down as Nature mutates into Circe to the teeth!

a dedication of Respect
for
the vast Pain of each ungodly "act of God"
a deed yet dangerous in having
no design --
as well as no designer
a revolving helios rhyme menippean satire on
the common, brainwashed belief in
"supernatural" designers of sundry stripes --
each tigerish
april, 2023 -- april showers bring yet
may floods
(aside from drownings untold)
