Oh, Bill, I'm so sorry to read about your wife, Sara's, shoulder surgery. It is an exhausting ordeal for sure. Glad to know Sara's shoulder is healing well now and I look forward to seeing both of you back soon :)

Thank you for the visit and comment on my poetry, Susan. Sara's shoulder is healing well now that the surgery has been completed. These months of pain and hardly any sleep have worn on us, as well as the physical therapy. We'll be back writing and reading soon. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Once again, Bill you take me back to happy memories, with your lovely Haikus and Senryu. Having left the Northern Hemisphere, over fifty years ago, i've never experience snow, only on the mountain tops of New Zealand and Australia. Thanks. Harry

We don't have very much of that around here, but we have experienced some in my lifetime. Those were so very cold winters when it did happen. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my pages. Sara

I remember from living in Atlanta for a year in the 80's. Hardly any wintery days that year. Pretty to watch from the warm indoors window, but I'm not much for cold weather anymore. :-) Have a joyful day, my friend. Bill

You are on a winter kick lately. Winter is pretty EXCEPT when driving. The scene you are describing sounds like a "no school day" to me.
