I Wondered Lonely As a Cloud

(Inspired by Wordsworth's poem of the same title) The stratus clouds that mingle hand in hand, nor lacy cirrus feathers stretched on high, can stay the gaze of dreamers where they stand, unlike a lonely billow as it flies. The blue of sky that licks at Heaven's breast no matter whether lit by sun or moon, much like the ships that course a weary quest; a palette that the strokes of God has hewn. Now swept along on breaths of wishes spent so quickly gone like sighs on frosty morns, yet never have I wondered where they went nor pondered very long on where they're born. Instead, I float, a solitary soul, contented with the faith that keeps me whole.

Splendid Craig. A lovely sonnet. You know me, I love a well written sonnet and this one most definitely qualifies.
