I Listen Through My Eyes

( I listen Through My Eyes )

You put your hand in mine, as we meet at the door
Both hearts are racing fast, as we walk across the floor
Two weeks without your touch, it felt like many years
The softness of your fingers, erased all my fears

Holding each other tightly, the tears begin to fall
We are finally face to face, once and for all
Time is what we sacrificed, the length was bittersweet
It was all so worth it, now that its complete

You told me to be patient, this day would come to pass
Just hold out the love for you, and stare into the glass
I did just as you asked me, and looked upon our life
I thought about the future, through happiness and strife

I stare at you in this moment, both of our bodies are shaking
Forever is staring back at us, on the choice that we are making
In your arms wont ever end, the past is our disguise
This moment we will never forget, as I listen through my eyes
