I knew we were tethered,
Dreams speak volumes,
Now in need of a response.
Can one bide their time
For the right answers?
I know you too well,
Initial reaction won't work,
This I know!
Dancing in the same spot
From where you left,
No care in what you're doing,
Hey! Don't get me wrong!
I love everything you do and done!
But yes, time has passed
Ever since I've been lost...
Oh hi, yes, I'm still the same,
But my mind has traveled,
Improvement, strength,
Body and soul... So?
What is it that you want?
Never put your life on hold,
Always wanting you to have the freedom to roam
As I do for myself...
Though I shouldn't, I still hold you up high,
Above the others.
Is this a good enough response?
