He Shall Put His Light In Every Storm
He shall put his light in every storm,
That breaks upon thy way,
And make the darkness bright with form,
And gild the clouds with day.
He shall put his peace in every pain,
That brings thy heart distress,
And make the sorrow bright with gain,
And gild the darkness bless.
He shall put his strength in every fear,
That shakes thy soul with dread,
And make the weakness strong with cheer,
And gild the shadows red.
He shall put his love in every heart,
That feels the touch of care,
And make the darkness bright with art,
And gild the clouds with prayer.
He shall put his joy in every life,
That feels the touch of pain,
And make the darkness bright with strife,
And gild the clouds again.
Thus
To every part of this sweet earth
Spread His mercy and love
And
Be glad in it
