I have a great picture of “my red-winged blackbird” with my poem “Passerine Sentry” The better poems are “A Flower With Wings” and “The Untouchables” I stopped after taking his photo to write down what kind of bird he was (he was protecting the mama and nest) I felt his wing across my back and moved on. Yes, birds are so cool to write about, especially when you have a personal encounter with them. Thanks so much for stopping by to read my poems. Carol Louise
