Nothing new will add a haikus' scenic wreckage Nature's snarling tropes ________ NOTES: We missed the boat apropos our misanthrope As addendum: Something old subtracts A haikus' putrid bombast Nature shirks the bill Date: 9/30/2023 10:09:00 PM Edit Another change. Haiku choo choo tracks ~ But now I changed a word (two words) which, I think, must confuse the commentaries. Such a popular practice would establish a semantic bizarro world. ~ "That's all folks!" Please don't sue me. ~ Sanity is a club. Membership is conditional but not optional. Humorists are guiding us to The promised Land ~ I feel quite jolly, actually, but the sniveling, obnoxious poet within, insists on periodic attempts to audit the communal sociopathy. The judge would understand.

I noted a plethora of haikus with the word "Nature" in the last line so I thought to demonize her with complaint haikus

That was the expressed effect my poem "At Moon rising pond" had on another commentator long ago. I think there's an inverse correlation between economy of expression and effect. That's what makes Good haiku so powerful. The content here is a criticism (half in jest) of the form divorced from its spiritual underpinnings. Glad to help with the editor stuff. ~ had to fix this a couple of times. Brain sans coffee emits Angel-like cryptic scribbles on window frost ~ the vicissitudes of a blustery existence.
