Friendship and Belonging

Wanting to belong is not what is wrong, it’s over longing about belonging. It could be the problem is in the seed, maybe you’re showing an unfulfilled need. Overexposing our expectations, may derail developing relations. What most people want is a sensation, a gradual feeling of elation. People want to see a to and from flow, a comfortable feeling trust will grow. It’s learning how to meet each other’s needs, that will guarantee a friendship succeeds. No more singing that old loneliness song, It wasn’t you; your methods were wrong.

Unfortunately this is what many seek "What most people want is a sensation, a gradual feeling of elation." at the expense of making any real relationships work or last.

I don't mind a person wanting to find the feeling of belonging; I'm just don't personally think it's worth losing yourself for. Thanks for the comment, Caren. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Good Morning Bill - You have an interesting intake that has truth. (unfilled need - overexposing expectations etc) With all this said, there there be a toast to methods (smile). Thank you as always for sharing. Have a wonderful morning and day. Blessings
