Forest Bathing
Take me to the forest to bathe by the trees
Allow my soul be healed by the breeze
Absorb my woes or cast them out
Prevent descent into this awful self doubt
Stay a while, to imagine the scene
To lie on the moss, feeling serene
Gentle dappled light caressing all of the senses
Soothed to the point there is no need for defences
The trees have stood ever watchful and still
Offer me peace, yet asking for nil
Feel held by an aura, cradled by light
"Held in love" the mantra to repeat and recite
Everything is reflected, magnified
The trees willing to listen so I confide
It is forever that I have felt all wrong
I want to stop, I want to sing another song
Stay a while, let's hold hands and pray
Lay on the moss, within this gentle day
Bathed in this light filling all of the senses
Soothing self and others whilst healing commences
