Hi Bill we have to pray for rain as water is becoming such a scare commodity, it will one day reach the price of gold - I love my garden very much but the time and era is turning and the younger generation are far more attuned to it, becoming far more self sufficient with minimal water usage and collecting rain water. We are in Winter here, and do get Winter Rains, but the weather is beginning to turn cold now, and i wonder what climatic change we are in for this side of the world. Hugs, Jen

I forget sometimes, how different it is in different countries. Living in Texas, the summers are very hot and dry, but normally have plenty of rain the other 9 months. We collect rainwater to help with the watering of our plants. You're right though, new generations are much more attuned to the changes going on with climate.
