Finding People You Like

How does a soul make itself known It's not through niceties More the undercurrents Laying yourself on the line Spotting what means something The who I am meets the who they are Visibility for the few Within the undercurrent is the whisper of the soul Invisible to the casual observer The resonance for the attuned ear Reserving something of yourself For those that resonate nearby The shaping of the feeling that occurs, causes ripples There is an undulation of thoughts Which collide and return Immeasurable across time and tide But felt next to you Connection with another Impacting on the ability to see beauty Feelings of warmth and nourishment Tingling skin and beating heart The eventual sink into safe slumber A peace within you

First impressions count for lot to an intuitive mind, then as you say spotting something that resonates, that familiar feelling, from there your senses are in full swing and take over, creating all the sensations needed to know you have found someone you really like. A terrific poem D. Its not what you remember a new person saying. Its the way they made you feel.

Tiredly collected but formed well enough to be shared rather than binned. Thank you for your kind, supportive words
