False Almighty

Don’t tell me where i belong, Your god and mine won’t get along Some false almighty you think can bless me I let out pent up anguish, & set it free Spare me the shame Spare me your prayer I’ll make this promise to you, Yours won’t get me anywhere And glory be to god Let church bells ring Stirring up ill thoughts inside of me That further prove my wish to flee You’re conjuring the very last drop of sanity I can hold in my delicate hands Because large parts of me seek urgency In running away to distant far away lands Unsure of the length of time I can rightfully reside here A metaphorical dungeon, a locked away tower, Neither one fictional or so i fear
