Even When It Hurts
Dangling from a ceiling
He left the mark that obstructed your healing
He wanted to be free
But he left without knowing what you'd turn out to be
So even when it hurts, it was just a tragedy
Even when it hurts, put it in a melody
Sing along, right your wrong
Forgive him and move on
The world will call you weak riding on the train of sorrow
Depression could pick you up from your destination tomorrow
There goes another cycle birthed from pain
There goes another daughter who couldn't stay sane
Because even when it hurts, the world will never sympathize your whole life
It is brief and then it is forgotten
Even when it hurts, you will be okay eventually
Please do not go dangling from a ceiling
