I think I may have lost my spark.

In quiet moments, I notice the change, Food on my plate, but appetite estranged. Thoughts dancing, swirling, a mind in disarray, Lost in overthinking, joy slipping away. Care like a river, flowing without end, Worrying about others, a tireless friend. A quest for perfection, an elusive goal, Chasing shadows, taking a heavy toll. Empty plates, a reflection of the soul, Eating less, a part of me takes its toll. Edging towards anxiety, a silent foe, A battle within, a struggle to let go. In this maze of thoughts, simplicity I seek, To find the peace that whispers, not shrieks. Slowly, gently, I'll mend the fray, Embracing imperfection, finding my own way.

Ariana, thank you for sharing your heart. You're right, sometimes we can feel "eclipsed;" but your last stanza reveals that you're in tune with the more important things- "simplicity I seek... to find the peace that whispers...slowly, gently, I'll mend the fray...embracing imperfection, finding my own way." You should look in a positive direction. If you look hard enough, you'll begin to see the beauty your missing:) If you look for the negative, that's what you'll see. Keep writing, Ariana:) Another fine poem, releasing your feelings.
