Dream Space

Close your eyelids right up tight
At last it’s come that time of night
I can tell by the countenance on your face
You’ve gone there slipped into your dream space

That place you go to have a dream
Or nightmare that’s not true, it would seem
That place where only you can be
Yet I hope there is a place for me

To save you from that nightmare real
To sweeten your dream and add a good feel
For I know when I’m in my dream space
You’re always there in every place

Dream space what a place to be
No matter what it is you see
Dream space comes easily to some maybe
Yet not so easily for me

That’s why I sit here at one thirty nine
I can’t find the dream space that is mine
It seems it is so far away
May I find it soon I pray

So dream space please hold my in your deep embrace
Let that look be the countenance on my face
Let me slumber and dream through tight closed eyes
If only if only can you sympathise
