We are experiencing the same now with the arrival of the first monsoon rains. Once it strengthens, there won't be lightning or thunder. Beautifully written Haiku, dear Bill.

I love rain, and thunder and lightning during a wet monsoon storm is always kind of fun, if the lightning doesn't strike too close!! One day my daughter and grandkids were at my house during a storm, the kids were scared our house would be struck. My daughter consoled the children, it probably won't strike too close. As soon as she spoke, a tree in my neighbor's yard was struck, and a huge branch fell off! So, it can be really scary! I love your Haiku :)

Great, Bill.! Where I live there is no thunder! OK by me, lightning scares the pants off of me as is.)) Chicago had enough thunder as it was..I love to walk in the rain on a summer night without an umbrella…without lightning or thumper. Best shower in the world Chicken Little Pangie
