De-Humanizing Pause

The Western lords of hypocrisy now sue for a 'humanitarian pause', like crows screaming in wilderness, bathing in the river of Islamophobia. They water the garden of their own colonial history and collect new memories, pseudo-solutions hidden under mirages, keeping the facade to relieve them in the bitterness of the seasons and mix pity with treachery, their illustrious 'soft power'. A temporary pause in the killing fields is another license to kill.
