Day Dreams

I often wonder if the grass is jealous of the trees because they will never know how it feels to almost scrape against the blush of the sky some days I wonder if geese are jealous of swans and if one ever tried to hide the dusty colors of their wings to blend in, to belong, to play the part of a water angel some times I suggest to myself fish have feelings and I feel so horrible thinking of the many fish I have maimed whilst on a white boat floating on Lake Erie most days I ponder the earth she is so patient holding us in her arms while we run around in love singing and screaming throwing arms up and around one another
