Dancing With Shadows
Dancing with Shadows
***********
Dancing with shadows in my room, dispels all
specters of gloom.
I see the young Panagiota,in tulle ballet gown.
Bowing gracefully to her audience.
Oh, my she was the talk of the town!
I see her in a ballgown all sequins, satin and white.
Bowing to an audience, holding long stem roses, on
her special debutante night.
Years later, learning belly dancing on a Greek town
lit stage.
"Always do something new"'was on the top of her
diary's page!
She could never be still and sit quietly on a chair,
If a dance floor were ready..count in it, Panagiota's
feet imnediatelly would be there.
Between dancing and Panagiota, there is a soul love!
So sacred, so intimate, so unique..
Her heart rhythmic, yet soft as a turtle dove's.
