The November sun brings brightness to the day, taking center stage as the blooms of the summertime become a part of the soil. The sunshine and cold somehow warm even when the north wind bites. There will be days I wish to stay in the warmth of my home, to observe from a duvet, fingers wrapped snuggly around a steaming cup of hot cocoa. Somedays, though, November takes my hand and shows me its beauty, that in truth, it is but the dawn of spring.

Hello Sara. This is soft gentle quiet and so peaceful. Yes, contentment. Nice touch by you with incorporating a soft sweater. That gave completeness to the tranquil moment in time. You leave us with imagery. Thank you for sharing your poetic talent and positiveness. May you and Bill have a beautiful night filled with blessings and peace. Please say hello and that I have not forgotten his page. (smile)

Dear, Sara, You have shown great talent and insight in writing this haibun. The intriguing blend of November's cold and warmth creates a fascinating month. Imagine the pleasure of sipping a steaming mug of tea on a chilly morning in November. Even in my present condition due to medical ailments, your haibuns never fail to boost my mental state.

thank you, dearest Sotto, for acknowledging my blooming talent and insights. I agree, November is a fascinating, transitional month. I'm glad my haibuns boost your mental state. Ongoing medical conditions can wear on a person's mental state. I've been there, and recently. Sending you encouraging vibes for improved health and a comforting, poetic e-hug, Sara

dearest Ink--your complimentary words and comments touch my heart. Thanks for your observations about my poems. You're right...I learned to appreciate little things from my dad...he was always content, whistling around the house. Glad to know you like hot cocoa! Thanks for faving my poem...you mean a great deal to me, hugs Sara
