Civilization and Hell
It’s my observation
(and perhaps yours as well)
that if there exists a Hell
its cause is civilization.
The only remedy for this,
say most religionists,
is another Hell. And if so
then reason’s only hope is to
pray its horrors are far less severe
there than those suffered here!
