Churned by anothers love
Tonight I read his poem
With music dancing through
He talked of his awaited love
His love for the sweetness of you
This poem has completely thrown me
Thrown me so out of kilt
I realise how bereft I am
And full of loss and guilt
For I’ve lost my love I had like that
We didn’t cherish it too well
So now when I read of another’s
My heart doth swell and swell
I yearn for that deep love again
The love that keeps you true
The love that keeps you tender
The love I had for you
I miss you, I’m heartbroken
I ache to see our pain
My darling I still love you
Will I ever know you again
