yes, we do get cataracts in our eyes. I recently had mine removed....fun times. I often wondered how eye cataracts got their name...maybe because they flood our eyes with film making it harder to see. Who knows. smiles, Sara

I read this firstly with my understanding of the medical condition and it created a fascinating spin on how it feels beneath a veil with so much extra details out of sight but roaring around you. Then I looked up it and learnt the words other meaning - hopefully I can impress someone somewhere with this knowledge! Thank you :) gorgeous haiku

thanks, Di11y, for your visit. I think most people are only familiar with cataracts as a medical condition. I think you're right, cataracts do create a veil around our eyes. You're a smart gal. I appreciate your consistent visits. Sara

I know that word , but i cant remember what it is hah. Cataract. Love it. And what a gorgeous picture, i love how descriptive this haiku is: it touches all our senses so eloquently. I can hear through your words and feel the coldness, sending you light always dear sara

thanks for your visit and comments, Ink. Most people only know about cataracts on the eyes. Few know cataract can also mean a flood or a diluge (I think, ha) I'm glad you found my haiku descriptive and that you felt the cold. Your words mean a great deal to me, hugs, Sara
