Care Instructions
My long swirling skirts
myriad of fabrics, applique and lace
Something chaotic in essence
Though the designer cut it all just right
So they are beautiful
I find them in charity shops
Like new
Purchased but 'too much' in the end
So given away
To my delight
For I am synonymous with ethereal apparel
I of course ignore the washing instructions
If it's meant to be it will survive the machine
I've acquired some new ones
But I feel inclined to be more gentle with them
This time around
They are so delicate and I can be so cruel
Perhaps a little care is not too much to give
For the outside as well as the inside
