No, but ten pints of beer, champagne and cheer will send you to sleep, though when you wake up, the headache is severe.

The recipe was for quieting a restless mind, yours creates one that lasts about 2 weeks in my experience (although don't think I've ever had 10 pints as it would probably kill me... Ahh yes, then I'd sleep)

Beautiful Haiku DD. It is said that tea is not good to be had just before going to sleep. It arrests sleep. I don't know the verity of it.

I ended up just imagining having the tea as I was too cold so went back to bed. It is true as I notice it if I have two cups I can't fall asleep, but I find it soothing in the middle of the night. A bit like a hug (I have a tea called Jam on Toast - slightly sweet and lovely)
